Maryum Saifee

Maryum Saifee is currently a graduate student at Columbia University focusing on South Asian domestic migrant workers in the Middle East. Prior to graduate school, she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jordan for two years, a program associate at Forefront, New York-based human rights organization, and an AmeriCorps Volunteer at Chaya, a Seattle-based nonprofit dealing with domestic violence in local South Asian communities. Her writing has been published in Samar, Jade, and Columbia Spectator.
